Job Description

Direct Support Professional (DSP) Make a Difference Every Day! Excel Supported Living is seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with developmental disabilities in living more independent, meaningful lives. As a DSP, you'll provide hands-on support, encouragement, and skill-building assistance to help individuals achieve their personal goals, participate in their communities, and maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
What You'll Do:
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks Support individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills Encourage participation in community and recreational activities Provide companionship, emotional support, and positive reinforcement Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or support needs Follow individualized support plans and document services provided Promote dignity, choice, respect, and self-advocacy

Must Have:
1• year of experience in direct support• 75 Hour Certificate Required CPR/First Aid Certified De-escalation skills Behavioral Support Experience Reliable transportation to and from client locations Minimum Qualifications Must pass WA State/Federal Background Check High school diploma or GED At least 18 years of age If you're looking for a rewarding job where you make a real difference — Excel Supported Living is the place for you! $19.00 - $21.50 per hour
