We have 6 homes, all located very close to each other in the Spokane Valley. Very low staff to client ratios, one staff per 3 clients. You would be assisting with all activities of daily living as well as giving clients their medications. Fun and rewarding job. You must be 18 years or older, have your high school diploma or GED and be able to pass a fingerprint background check. Upon hire obtaining a
NAR/NAC/HCA
required as well as 75 hour training certificate or grandfather letter. Prefer someone with at least one year experience in this field but will train the right applicants.

Summary As a Residential Support Specialist, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in home and community settings, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, along with core skills in caregiving and long-term care. You will utilize premium skills such as assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and working with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Your relevant experience in group homes and social work will be vital in fostering a supportive environment that respects residents' rights and promotes independence. Responsibilities Provide personal care and support to residents in a home or community care setting, ensuring their comfort and safety. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Monitor and document residents' health and behavior, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel. Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being and enhance their quality of life. Uphold residents' rights and dignity while fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
