Join our team and support individuals with disabilities in their home, community and more! You'll provide companionship, assist with daily living tasks, and be part of a supportive, person-centered Rehabilitative goal environment. Position Overview As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll help promote independence and meaningful engagement by assisting with personal care, household tasks, and community activities. Key Responsibilities Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, clean environment Prepare and serve meals/snacks; assist with grocery shopping and meal planning Provide transportation and accompany the individual to medical appointments and community outings (movies, mall, swimming, etc.) Support self-administration of medication Document daily services using a computer Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the social well-being of clients. Monitor and document client progress and changes in condition, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs, particularly focusing on dementia care and memory support. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients by maintaining hygiene standards and adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Valid driver's license and auto insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check Reliable, compassionate, and respectful of individual needs Care giving experience is helpful, but not required Why Join Us?

$20/hr Paid training: 75 hours of hands-on training by experienced staff Set schedule for better work/life balance: • Day shift : Mon-Thurs 6:45 AM•2:15PM Swing Shift:
Mon-Thurs, 1:45 PM•10:15PM Graveyard:
