Group Home Worker 6pm-6am (3) Shifts per Week.

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. This role requires a blend of interpersonal skills, medical knowledge, and the ability to manage various tasks effectively. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition. Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members. Maintain accurate records of client care, including vital signs and any changes in health status. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with heavy lifting as needed for mobility or transferring clients safely. Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with healthcare providers. Implement conflict management strategies to address any issues that may arise during care. Support clients with specific needs such as hospice care or working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Requirements Proven experience as a Home Care Worker or similar role is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices is essential. Ability to administer medication accurately and responsibly. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to adapt them based on client needs. Experience in hospice care is a plus but not mandatory. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and healthcare professionals.
