Part-Time, Flexible Hours Pay Rate:
$16.32 per hour
Location:
Suamico, WI (in-home / private residence) We are currently hiring a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home care for an adult with physical disabilities. This role is ideal for someone with experience or interest in direct support, home health care, CNA work, or personal care services . The individual receiving support uses a wheelchair and communicates non-verbally. Care focuses on maintaining comfort, safety, dignity, and daily living support . Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, hygiene, toileting, incontinence care) Assist with tube feeding and meal support Perform safe transfers using a Hoyer lift (lift training available) Support mobility, positioning, and wheelchair assistance Follow a structured care plan and daily routine Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a home setting Schedule Summer / Peak Season (June-August): Flexible shifts between early morning and evening hours No overnight shifts required
Year-Round Needs:
Evenings and weekends (part-time, as needed)
Note:
Hours may vary; more consistent hours are typically available during summer months. Qualifications & Skills Experience in caregiving, home health aide (HHA), CNA, DSP, or personal care preferred Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and transfers Comfortable providing direct personal and medical-related support Dependable, patient, and detail-oriented Willingness to learn and follow care instructions Non-smoker preferred Additional Opportunities Potential to support community outings and transportation assistance over time Employment Details This position is part of a self-directed care program , where services are provided in a home environment. Additional onboarding and employment details will be discussed during the hiring process.
