Compensation:
$60,000 - $80,000 annuallyResponsibilities:
Conduct precise sample preparation and analysis to ensure data accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with scientists and managers to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. Perform quality control checks to uphold the integrity of laboratory results. Document and report findings clearly and accurately, contributing to informed decision-making. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure it is calibrated and functioning optimally. Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety within the laboratory. Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methodologies and procedures.Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field. Equivalent technical experience considered.Experience:
1-5 years in an analytical, environmental, or materials testing laboratory preferred. Knowledge of EPA analytical methods andISO/IEC 17025
standards is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity. Ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable working with chemicals, instrumentation, and lab automation software (LIMS, Excel, or equivalent).
