Central Processing Technician 1, Athens-Limestone, Lab, FT-2nd Shift

Overview Provides technical support to the lab by receiving/processing requisitions/specimens and ordering specified lab tests according to standard operating procedures. Responds to phone requests and enters lab test data into computer. Qualifications Education Required

• High School Diploma/GED Education Preferred
• Associates Degree preferred, with a minimum of 6 semester hours of chemistry and 6 semester hours of biology, but not required. License, Certification and/or Registration
• MLA certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency (i.

e. ASCP or AMT) preferred.
