COPY LINK link Position Summary Adecco's client is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join their Quality Assurance team. ing to the Quality Laboratory Supervisor, this role is responsible for performing physical, chemical, and nutritional analyses of raw materials and finished products to ensurepliance with quality, food safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in chemistry, laboratory testing procedures, and analytical instrumentation. This position plays a critical role in supporting plant operations, product quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Perform physical, qualitative, and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished products, including analysis of moisture, solids, minerals, vitamins, and other chemical characteristics. Conduct analytical and wet chemistry testing using established laboratory procedures and methodologies. Prepare, review, interpret, and report analytical results while maintaining accurate laboratory documentation inpliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory requirements. Maintain statistical controls for reference methods and rapid analytical methods, including method validation and performance monitoring. Administer internal laboratory proficiency programs by providing training, distributing samples, evaluating results, and conducting follow-up coaching as needed. Support the maintenance, calibration, and verification of laboratory instrumentation and testing equipment. Maintain laboratory cleanliness,anization, andpliance with Good Laboratory Practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Operations, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and supportpany quality, safety, and environmental programs. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related scientific discipline required. Coursework in Quantitative Analysis, Instrumental Analysis, or equivalent analytical chemistry experience preferred. Experience Previous experience in a chemistry laboratory, quality control laboratory, food manufacturing laboratory, or analytical testing environment preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques and laboratory testing methods. Effective verbal and writtenmunication skills. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. Experience with SAP, laboratory information systems, or statistical software is preferred. Stronganizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays when required. Work Environment This position is considered safety-sensitive and requires strict adnce to all safety, quality, environmental, and food safety standards. The successful candidate mustply with all applicablepany policies, GMP requirements, quality management systems, and occupational health and safety standards.
Pay Details:
