Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and versatile Laboratory Technician to support our operations. This hybrid role blends precise bench work with customer-facing and administrative responsibilities in a growing diagnostics environment. Responsibilities Kit packing and assembly : Accurately assemble and package diagnostic kits (collection materials, reagents, instructions, labels, and components), perform quality checks, and ensure completeness and compliance with specifications. Sample preparation : Receive, log, and prepare biological samples (e.g., saliva, urine, or other matrices) for diagnostic testing, including aliquoting, dilution, extraction, or other pre-analytical steps per SOPs. Pipetting and liquid handling : Execute high-accuracy pipetting (single- and multi-channel) of samples, reagents, standards, and controls for assays, quality control, or kit-related processes. Laboratory operations & maintenance : Assist with day-to-day lab upkeep, basic equipment performance checks, inventory management of consumables and reagents, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant workspace. Desk work & customer service : Handle customer/client inquiries (phone, email, or portal) regarding kit orders, shipping status, usage instructions, and general service questions. Perform accurate data entry, maintain chain-of-custody and lab records, support order processing, and assist with basic administrative tasks tied to the diagnostic workflow. Compliance, documentation & collaboration : Follow all safety guidelines, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP/GCLP), applicable CLIA requirements, and internal SOPs. Maintain thorough lab notebooks and digital records. Participate in team meetings, provide written/verbal work summaries, and contribute ideas for workflow improvements.
Pay:
$24.38 - $29.36 per hour
