Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Lab Technician to join our dynamic research and development team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise laboratory tests and analyses to ensure that products and processes meet stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, compliance protocols, and scientific research methods, contributing significantly to the integrity of our quality assurance initiatives. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using established laboratory procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of test results, observations, and data collection in laboratory information management systems. Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), and FDA regulations throughout all testing activities. Perform microbiological assessments, histology preparations, molecular biology assays, and other specialized analyses as required. Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols, sterile techniques, and chemical handling safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Collaborate with research teams to support development projects by providing detailed analytical data and insights. Participate in internal audits and support documentation for regulatory inspections to uphold laboratory compliance standards. Implement continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of testing procedures. Assist in training new team members on laboratory techniques, safety procedures, and standard operating protocols. Requirements Proven experience working in an industrial or clinical laboratory setting with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and compliance standards. Knowledge of
GLP, CGMP, FDA
regulations, microbiology techniques, histology methods, molecular biology assays, and veterinary terminology. Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management. Demonstrated ability to perform analysis skills with precision and attention to detail across various laboratory techniques. Experience with chemical handling safety procedures and sterile laboratory techniques is essential. Strong understanding of laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirements for research environments. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Technical proficiency in scientific research tools including microscopes, spectrophotometers, PCR machines, and other relevant equipment. Background in veterinary science or related fields is advantageous; familiarity with scientific research methodologies is essential. Ability to interpret data accurately using mathematical skills; experience with data collection and analysis is preferred.
