Full-Time, In-Person About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team at Monarch Diagnostics. This position plays a vital role in supporting the laboratory's mission by performing high-quality testing in toxicology and infectious disease. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and committed to producing accurate and timely results that directly support patient care and provider decision-making. Responsibilities Perform routine testing in toxicology and infectious disease following established laboratory procedures. Conduct sample preparation, including aliquoting, labeling, and handling specimens in accordance with laboratory SOPs and biosafety requirements. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as chemistry analyzers, LC/MS, and molecular platforms. Prepare, analyze, and record results with precision and accuracy while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability and consistency of all testing. Maintain reagent and supply inventory, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and storage. Follow all laboratory safety policies and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Assist in training new laboratory personnel or students as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely turnaround of results. Qualifications Associate's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field required. Current ASCP, AMT, or equivalent MLT certification. Prior experience in a clinical laboratory preferred; experience in toxicology or molecular testing is a plus. Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of CLIA and COLA compliance standards. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
