Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Assistant/ Accessioneer to join our team. The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by performing a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of laboratory processes. This role involves working with biological specimens and maintaining accurate records. The Laboratory Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our research and diagnostic efforts. Duties Document laboratory results accurately in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) to ensure data integrity. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to laboratory procedures and equipment. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to adhere to health regulations. Provide support in phlebotomizing patients when necessary, ensuring comfort and safety during the procedure. Experience Previous experience in a laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of physiology is advantageous for understanding specimen processing and testing procedures. Familiarity with laboratory techniques such as
ELISA, PCR, CT
imaging, and blood sampling is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate records and documentation. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
