Job Description

  • Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Laboratory Technician
  • to join a dynamic clinical laboratory team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with precision, and is passionate about supporting high-quality patient testing and outcomes.

  • Education Requirements
  • + 2+ years of college education in biology or a related field

  • 3+ years of laboratory experience
  • OR•+ 4-year degree in a related field •plus•1+ year of laboratory experience •What You'll Do•+ Prepare and process clinical specimens for testing, including accessioning, aliquoting, and tracking + Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments + Perform and document quality control measures (environmental, equipment, and product QC) + Prepare reagents and maintain lab supplies and equipment + Manage sample inventory, including receipt, storage, and disposal + Maintain accurate data entry and update laboratory systems and databases + Identify discrepancies and take corrective action when needed + Support workflow improvements and assist with training staff as needed + Follow all safety, compliance, and confidentiality protocols, including handling sensitive patient information + Assist with general lab operations, including stocking, ordering, and maintenance •What We're Looking For•+ •Hands-on laboratory experience with sample handling, chemical analysis, enzyme assays, or similar complex procedures•+ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high sample volumes accurately + Experience with laboratory instruments and automated systems + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (beyond basic data entry) + Ability to follow strict protocols and apply critical thinking to resolve issues + Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment •Pay•The anticipated wage for this position is between •$36 and $47/hour•.
Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

  • $36.
