Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our innovative research and development team. In this vital role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory procedures, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of scientific experiments and quality control processes. Your expertise will support our commitment to advancing scientific research, adhering to strict regulatory standards, and maintaining high-quality laboratory operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to scientific excellence. Duties Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols, including microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other specialized techniques. Maintain precise documentation of all experimental procedures, data collection, and results using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP), FDA regulations, and other relevant standards to guarantee data integrity and quality assurance. Perform routine quality control assessments on samples, reagents, and equipment to uphold laboratory standards. Assist in research & development activities by preparing samples, analyzing data, and supporting scientific investigations related to animal physiology and veterinary terminology. Follow strict safety protocols and proper waste disposal procedures in accordance with industry regulations. Support laboratory maintenance tasks including calibration of instruments, inventory management, and equipment troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research projects requiring microbiology, clinical laboratory techniques, or molecular biology expertise. Experience Proven industrial laboratory experience with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques. Familiarity with
GLP, CGMP, FDA
regulations, and quality control standards in a regulated environment. Hands-on experience in microbiology, histology, molecular biology or clinical laboratory settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data tracking and reporting. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets accurately. Previous research laboratory experience involving scientific research projects related to animal physiology or veterinary terminology is preferred. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed protocols meticulously while maintaining flexibility for project needs. Pay:
$24.16 - $29.09 per hour
