We offer chemical, physical and microbial testing of beverages, foods, cosmetics and supplements to ensure customer quality and safety. Twin Arbor Labs is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician with a strong background in analytical chemistry. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, with a focus on instrumental analysis techniques. Duties:

Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing on various sample matrices according to established procedures and protocols. Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including but not limited to Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS), Gas Chromatography (GC), High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LCMS) systems. Prepare samples for analysis, including extractions, dilutions, and other necessary procedures. Accurately record and document all test data, observations, and results in a timely and precise manner. Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods. Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Troubleshoot analytical issues and participate in problem-solving. Assist with inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents. Contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the laboratory.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field. Proven experience (1+ year preferred) working in an analytical laboratory setting is highly desirable. Hands-on experience with ICP-MS is highly desirable. Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and techniques. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Proficient in data analysis and interpretation. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
