Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to support specimen receiving, accessioning, and sample processing in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, verify, and log incoming specimens and samples. Confirm specimen information against submission documents and resolve discrepancies as needed. Accurately enter specimen data into Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and assign accession numbers. Label, track, and route specimens to the appropriate testing workflows. Prepare samples for testing, including centrifuging, aliquoting, and proper storage. Maintain chain of custody and ensure specimen integrity throughout processing. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Life Science or related field is preferred. Previous experience in a laboratory, specimen processing, accessioning, or healthcare environment preferred. NIT01
