Lab Technician

Job Summary Dayasa Life Sciences is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our growing laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a laboratory environment, understand basic biology concepts, and preferably have experience with human cell culture and aseptic processing. This position involves working in a cGMP-compliant cleanroom environment supporting cell therapy manufacturing and laboratory operations. Candidates must be quick learners, organized, and capable of following strict SOP and compliance procedures. ⸻ Responsibilities

• Perform tasks associated with the manufacturing of cell therapy products in compliance with SOPs and cGMP regulations
• Complete batch records and manufacturing documentation accurately
• Isolate cells from human blood and tissue samples within a cGMP facility
• Participate in production preparations, cell isolation, and cryopreservation processes
• Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure product identity, viability, and sterility
• Perform calculations involving cell concentrations, dilutions, and viability assessments
• Conduct routine cleaning, monitoring, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Follow specialized cleanroom gowning and sanitation procedures
• Assist with screening, testing, labeling, and product release procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary laboratory teams
• Support SOP review, revision, and validation activities when needed
• Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned ⸻ Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field preferred
• Experience in cell culture, blood banking, cell therapy, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical laboratory environments is highly preferred
• Previous experience with cell therapy products is a strong advantage
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and laboratory best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Spanish/English bilingual candidates are strongly preferred
• Ability to lift 15 lbs or more
