  • Full-time Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Mohs Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting dermatologic surgical procedures focused on skin cancer treatment.
This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced physicians, contribute to patient care, and gain valuable experience in a specialized laboratory environment. As a Mohs Technician, you will be instrumental in preparing and processing specimens, assisting during surgeries, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and accuracy are maintained throughout the procedure. Duties Perform laboratory procedures including specimen embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting for pathological review Maintain detailed records of specimen collection, processing steps, and patient information in accordance with hospital protocols Qualifications Prior clinical laboratory experience or research laboratory experience is highly desirable Knowledge of laboratory techniques including tissue processing, staining, and microscopic examination Experience with specimen collection and processing in a hospital or clinical setting Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathology related to dermatologic procedures Familiarity with phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, and aseptic technique to ensure safe handling of specimens and patients Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise laboratory procedures and protocols Effective communication skills to collaborate with medical staff and provide clear patient instructions Join us in making a meaningful difference by supporting innovative skin cancer treatments.
