- 1st Shift IDEXX Laboratories, Inc 401(k) United States, Colorado, Westminster Apr 16, 2026 As a Laboratory Technician at IDEXX, you perform laboratory testing that helps veterinarians diagnose and treat pets.
Laboratory Technician:
You will use automated analyzers, microscopes, and other laboratory diagnostic tools to perform analyses and tests that diagnose animal illnesses, injuries, and diseases in support of veterinary animal treatment. You will perform diagnostic tests on blood, urine, fecal, or pet biopsy samples that we receive in our lab by the thousands, every day. You will set up and run lab tests, then read and release results according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). What you'll need to succeed: You possess a High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A 2- 3• or 4-year degree in a Science-related field is preferred.

Schedule:
The schedule for this position is Monday- Friday with alternating Saturdays (5-day work week, 40hrs/week, 8.5hrs/day with 30-minute clocked-out lunch). When you are scheduled on a Saturday, you will have a weekday off. In this role, you will have staggered start times depending on the department you are trained in and/or scheduled in after additional cross-training: 6:00 am
- 2:30 pm 8:00 am
- 4:30 pm 8:30 am
- 5:00 pm 9:30 am
- 6:00 pm The shifts and hours may vary slightly depending on business needs.
