Full Job Description Position Highlights Department:

Laboratory Hours:

Part-Time/30 hours (This is a benefits eligible position.)

Shift:

Monday-Friday 1pm-7pm with rotating weekends and holidays

Position Summary:

The Specimen Processor Technical Assistant receives specimens from all procurement areas and orders laboratory tests based on physician orders. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: processing specimens for specific departments/locations in the laboratory and preparing specimens to be sent out to Reference Laboratories.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Biology Previous laboratory experience
