Shift Detail:
Lab Assistant- Cross train in clinical lab and anatomic pathology processing specimens. Schedule will include every other weekend and rotating holidays. Work where every moment matters. Qualifications Job Description Under the direction of the Supervisor, the lab assistant is responsible for support functions, preanalytical processing, preparing specimens to send to appropriate reference laboratories and accessioning/ registration functions. High School Graduate or equivalent 1 year of experience in a laboratory, medical or other related setting OR any experience or training that supports minimum training for the duties above. Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal, written and listening) skills and good leadership abilities. Ability to comply with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements by following established procedures in order to maintain a safe laboratory environment and to meet accreditation standards. Ability to be flexible as required to adapt to laboratory needs as related to testing and scheduling. We take great care of careers.
