Laboratory Analyst Mb Staffing Services Washington, DC Job Details Full-time | Contract $75,500 - $83,000 a year 14 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Biology Microbiology Quality assurance Chemistry Associate's degree Full Job Description Mb Staffing is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform chemical, biological, and microbiological testing in a fast-paced wastewater laboratory. This role supports regulatory compliance, environmental safety, and laboratory accreditation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct wastewater analyses (BOD, COD, TSS, nutrients, pH, E. coli, etc.) Collect, preserve, and transport samples following QA/QC protocols Operate and calibrate lab equipment and automatic samplers Maintain accurate records and enter data into LIMS Prepare reagents, solutions, and media Follow safety procedures and support lab quality standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science (3+ yrs lab experience) or Associate degree (5+ yrs wastewater lab experience) Strong wet chemistry and microbiology skills Ability to obtain Wastewater Laboratory Analyst I license within 18 months Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varied environmental conditions
Preferred:
Experience in a NELAP-accredited laboratory
Pay:
$75,500.00 - $83,000.00 per year
