RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains accurate records of all specimens received and distributed from the laboratory Completes test request forms and enters the information into the Laboratory Information System accurately and efficiently Performs specimen preparation for testing and archiving with a high level of accuracy Makes determinations as to acceptability of specimens, files appropriate specimen rejection forms, and files revision request forms Performs non-licensed testing, interprets results, and prepares and distributes reports with a high level of accuracy Performs quality control and quality assurance review of work area Provides excellent customer service to internal customers by answering calls and assisting in requests Documents and maintains all internal customer requests, discrepancies, complaints, and escalates to the supervisor for resolution and trend analysis Adheres to all regulatory, safety, and sampling requirements Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Education High School diploma or equivalent Experience 0-3 years of laboratory experience Certification N/A Skills Strong verbal and written communication Microsoft Office Suite Laboratory testing and safety

Travel N/A Safety:

Physical Requirement Move or lift objects up to 25 pounds Frequent (>75%) stationary position (standing or sitting) while utilizing digital displays Frequent (>75% fine manipulation using hands and fingers (typing, opening, writing, clicking, paper sorting, etc.)

Working Environment Onsite:
