Lab Technician

Responsibilities Conduct laboratory experiments and analyses using established techniques in microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and other scientific disciplines. Maintain accurate and detailed data collection, documentation, and record-keeping in accordance with GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations. Perform quality control assessments on samples, reagents, and equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards. Prepare samples for testing, including tissue processing, staining, and molecular assays, following precise laboratory procedures. Operate laboratory information management systems (LIMS) to track samples, record results, and manage data efficiently. Support research & development projects by assisting with experimental design, data analysis, and troubleshooting laboratory techniques. Adhere to safety protocols related to microbiology, veterinary terminology, clinical laboratory practices, and general laboratory safety guidelines. Skills Strong understanding of GLP standards, CGMP regulations, and FDA compliance requirements. Phlebotomy Extensive experience with animal physiology, microbiology techniques, histology processing, molecular biology methods, and clinical laboratory procedures. Proficiency in using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data tracking and reporting. Excellent analysis skills to interpret experimental results accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with veterinary terminology and biological sample handling procedures. Demonstrated ability to follow detailed laboratory protocols while maintaining high-quality standards.
