Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lab Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support to our laboratory operations by assisting with various tasks and ensuring the smooth functioning of our laboratory environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist laboratory staff with routine tasks such as sample preparation, equipment setup, and data entry Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory by cleaning equipment, washing glassware, and disposing of waste materials properly Prepare and sterilize laboratory materials and equipment as needed Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all lab personnel Keep accurate records of experiments, test results, and inventory levels Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment Monitor inventory levels of laboratory supplies and alert management when replenishment is needed Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems as they arise Participate in training sessions to expand knowledge and skills in laboratory techniques and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by laboratory management Additional tasks may be assigned at any time by the supervisor

Skills and Qualifications:

1-2 years of lab assistance experience preferred High school diploma required Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent organizational and time management skills Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools Ability to lift and carry laboratory equipment and supplies as needed Ability to work some weekends and evenings as needed Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Full-time Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
