Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Clinical Research Lab Technician to join our clinical research team. This role supports laboratory operations within early‑phase (Phase I) clinical trials, ensuring high‑quality sample handling, accurate data collection, and strict adherence to regulatory and safety standards. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on clinical research experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform specimen collection, processing, labeling, storage, and shipment according to study protocols and SOPs Conduct routine laboratory procedures such as centrifugation, aliquoting, and pipetting Maintain accurate and timely documentation in laboratory logs and study records Assist with study setup, sample inventory, and quality control activities Ensure compliance with GCP and all regulatory and safety guidelines Collaborate with clinical staff, study coordinators, and investigators to support Phase I trial workflows Monitor lab supplies and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment Participate in training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Experience in Phase I clinical research strongly preferred Prior experience in a clinical, research, or laboratory setting required Strong attention to detail, time‑management skills, and ability to follow complex protocols Proficiency with laboratory equipment and electronic data systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights and or weekends, depending on study needs Preferred Skills Experience with PK/PD sample processing Strong communication and teamwork abilities Comfort working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced Phase I environment
