Registered Sleep Technician (Overnight) Job Description Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Disorders Medicine, PA, an independent sleep center accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), is currently seeking a Full-Time Overnight Registered Sleep Technician to join our growing Sleep Department team. Our Sleep Center specializes in the recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of sleep-related conditions including: Sleep Apnea Insomnia Narcolepsy Restless Leg Syndrome Periodic Limb Movement Disorder Other adult sleep disorders We are seeking a dependable, patient-focused, and detail-oriented individual capable of delivering high-quality patient care and polysomnographic services in a professional sleep lab environment. This position plays a critical role in supporting patient care, maintaining sleep study quality standards, and ensuring operational excellence throughout overnight sleep evaluations. Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) credentialing is strongly encouraged. Candidates who are not currently registered should demonstrate the ability and willingness to obtain RPSGT credentialing within the first year of employment. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Monitoring overnight sleep center patients Preparing patients for polysomnographic testing Applying and attaching sensors/equipment accurately Producing quality polysomnographic recordings and detailed documentation Monitoring patient safety, comfort, and needs throughout evaluations Assisting patients in and out of bed as needed Responding appropriately to patient questions and concerns Maintaining professional, courteous, and compassionate patient interactions Assisting with cleaning and maintenance of sleep rooms and equipment Supporting compliance with sleep lab operational and accreditation standards Assisting with scoring and related sleep lab workflow responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Active BLS Certification (Required) Previous patient care experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities Ability to multitask and remain attentive during overnight hours Basic computer proficiency High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to assist with lifting and repositioning patients Benefits Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Disorders Medicine, PA offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package, including: 401(k) 401(k) Matching Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Requirements BLS Certification (Required) Ability to work overnight shifts Ability to commute to Pensacola, FL 32503 Ability to work in person About Us Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Disorders Medicine, PA is committed to providing high-quality pulmonary and sleep medicine services while maintaining a supportive, professional, and patient-centered environment for both patients and staff.
