In this vital role, you will oversee the proper collection, processing, and documentation of laboratory samples, ensuring compliance with strict regulatory standards such as GLP (Good Laboratory Practice), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations. Your expertise will support scientific research initiatives across various disciplines, including microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and veterinary terminology. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced laboratory environment where precision and quality are paramount. Responsibilities Collect, label, and process biological and chemical samples following established laboratory procedures and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of sample collection, processing steps, and analysis data using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to
GLP, CGMP, FDA
regulations, and quality control standards to guarantee data integrity and compliance. Assist in performing microbiological testing, histological preparations, molecular biology assays, and other specialized laboratory techniques. Coordinate sample storage, inventory management, and disposal in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Support research & development efforts by preparing reagents, maintaining equipment calibration logs, and troubleshooting technical issues. Collaborate with scientists and technicians to optimize laboratory workflows and improve overall efficiency while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. Experience Prior industrial or clinical laboratory experience with a strong understanding of laboratory techniques and procedures. Familiarity with GLP standards, FDA regulations, CGMP practices, and quality control processes. Hands-on experience in microbiology, histology, molecular biology methods or related scientific research fields. Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) for data collection and sample tracking. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret experimental data accurately. Experience working in research laboratories or veterinary settings is highly desirable. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to follow complex protocols precisely.
