What you´ll do Assist in preparation and testing of a range of composite samples, including fiber-reinforced polymer materials, across multiple test methods. Prepare and test resin formulations in accordance with established guidelines, working independently or in collaboration with engineering and technical staff. Operate moving equipment such as forklifts, when required. Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment and support safe work practices. Equipment Maintenance and routine checks to ensure reliability. Read and follow work instructions and safety data sheets (SDS) related to sample preparation, formulating resins and sample testing. Utilize various computer systems to perform work and assist in the preparation of test reports. Ensure experiments are executed safely while working alongside engineers and scientists. Performs additional duties as assigned. What makes you a good fit 1-3 years of working experience in a lab setting or similar. High school diploma required, with preference given to candidates who hold college diplomas in science, technology, engineering, or maintenance-related fields. Valid driver's license is required. Use of mechanical tools. Skilled in use of hand and power tools. Ability to work with resins, carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other materials. Fluent in English, with strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Requires proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Working knowledge of basic mathematical principles. General familiarity with multiple trades is a plus. Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a proactive, detail-oriented approach, supported by strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.
