Job Description

Description This position will assist in the lab. Examples of Duties Assist Pritzker staff with feeding and caring for the living collection throughout the lab (under IACUC guidelines) Assist with water aquarium maintenance including but not limited to conducting water changes and filter changes, cleaning acrylics and décor, diving in aquariums, maintaining life support equipment, and conducting water quality testing Assist Pritzker staff with animal quarantine and medical treatments Assist faculty in lab as needed Assist Pritzker staff with maintaining research vessels Assist Pritzker staff with general lab maintenance duties including keeping the lab clean and organized, keeping inventories and logs of the living collection, lab specimens, equipment and chemicals, maintaining lab equipment, and assisting student with preparing and breaking down projects Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Good standing (academic and other wise), reliable, organized, personable, articulate, tidy, punctual, curious, SAF status: Good All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship, including but not limited to non-immigrant visas, such as H1B, STEM, or F1, now and in the future.
