Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will perform essential laboratory procedures, assist with specimen collection and processing, and support clinical trials and research initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnostics, patient care, and innovative research efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in laboratory techniques, clinical laboratory experience, and a passion for advancing medical science through precise data management and technical skills. Responsibilities Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens including blood samples through venipuncture and blood banking techniques Perform laboratory assays such as ELISA, PCR, immunoassays, flow cytometry, RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and other molecular biology procedures Manage laboratory data accurately using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and ensure meticulous record-keeping for clinical trials and research projects Conduct routine laboratory procedures while maintaining strict aseptic techniques and adhering to safety protocols Support laboratory management by maintaining equipment calibration, inventory control, and compliance with hospital or clinical standards Assist in specimen processing, blood banking operations, and physiology-related testing including vital signs measurement Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper specimen collection/processing and deliver reliable results for diagnosis or research purposes Skills Extensive experience with laboratory techniques such as PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, immunoassays, RNA extraction, DNA isolation, and blood banking procedures Strong data management skills with proficiency in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and data analysis tools Knowledge of clinical laboratory operations including specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, venipuncture, blood sampling, and blood banking practices Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and hospital laboratory procedures Proven ability to perform laboratory procedures accurately while following aseptic techniques and safety standards Experience working in clinical laboratories or research settings with a focus on clinical trials or diagnostic testing Excellent communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate effectively within healthcare teams Join us in making a difference through precise diagnostics and innovative research!
