Key Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a clinical laboratory setting Proficient in laboratory equipment usage and diagnostic testing procedures Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests according to established protocols Analyze samples, record findings, and assist in identifying abnormal results Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and quality control policies Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments as needed Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Document results and communicate pertinent data effectively
