Job Description
Pure Air Filtration, LLC ("Company") is wholly owned subsidiaries of Cleanwater1, Inc., a global provider of on-site hypochlorite generation equipment, polymer activation systems, chemical feed systems, air purification and odor control equipment, and potable water mixing and treatment systems serving the water and wastewater treatment industries. Cleanwater1, Inc., Inc., through its various operating subsidiaries, is one of the most dynamic and fastest growing companies in the water infrastructure market. The Laboratory Technician is responsible for laboratory testing and analysis of chemical products and raw materials to support the manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams. This position supports daily laboratory operations in a fast-paced production setting and works to meet established turnaround times while following defined procedures and safety standards. The successful candidate will deliver accurate, timely test results, maintain laboratory organization and compliance, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This is a temporary, full-time position based out of our Norcross, Georgia facility. The Laboratory Technician reports to the Director of R&D. Essential Job Functions Perform routine laboratory testing, sample preparation, and analysis on chemical products, production media, customer samples, and corrosion test kits in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and the

2017 Quality Management System. Prepare samples using standard laboratory techniques including grinding, separation, extraction, and filtration. Prepare chemical standard solutions and dilutions using stepwise methods with accuracy and attention to detail. Operate laboratory instrumentation and perform basic troubleshooting, calibration, and routine maintenance. Conduct analytical testing including pH, color change evaluation, moisture content, density, titration, and spectrophotometry scanning. Receive, log, and document incoming samples using laboratory logbooks and designated electronic systems. Build corrosion test kits to defined specifications and timelines. Support training efforts by providing guidance to technicians, interns, and manufacturing staff as assigned. Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and functional laboratory environment. Coordinate daily workload and prioritize tasks to meet turnaround time, quality, and production requirements with minimal supervision. Communicate laboratory results and findings to internal teams including R&D, operations, sales, and administration as needed. Assist with continuous improvement efforts, including improving SOP validity, repeatability, and supporting ISO certification and accreditation. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related scientific discipline preferred (or equivalent laboratory experience). Familiarity with basic laboratory instrumentation and wet chemistry protocols. Ability to work with chemicals and solutions safely and accurately. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and basic data entry systems. Willingness to work occasional after‑hours or weekend coverage as projects require. Preferred Qualifications One or more years of laboratory experience (academic, internship, or commercial lab). Two or more years of experience in a commercial or industrial laboratory environment. Experience working within regulated quality systems (ISO, QA/QC, or similar). Physical Demands Ability to stand for extended periods of time in a laboratory or industrial environment. Ability to look at computer monitors for most of the workday. Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and lift light materials as required for sample handling. Ability to perform repetitive laboratory tasks with precision and focus. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to focus on instruments and samples. Work Environment 95% Laboratory- may be exposed to high noise levels hazardous propellants, chemicals and industrial facilities.
