Job Description

REQUIRED EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Relevant hands-on experience may be accepted as a substitute for formal degree requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • One to three years of analytical chemistry laboratory or analytical testing experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a laboratory setting.
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate data and quality standards.
  • Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following analytical techniques is preferred: total combustion analysis, elemental analysis, calorimetry, Gas Chromatography (GC), NIR Spectroscopy, NMR, total oil analysis, colorimetry, falling number, farinograph, mixograph, and bench-top wet chemical analysesSUMMARY
Seeking a detail-oriented Grain Quality Analyst to join its analytical laboratory team in Ankeny, Iowa. This position supports grain quality and analytical testing operations by receiving, preparing, and analyzing samples while ensuring accurate and timely laboratory results.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment and contribute to high-quality analytical testing that supports customer needs and business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Receive, identify, log, and prepare incoming samples for analysis.
  • Verify sample labeling and testing requirements.
  • Perform laboratory analyses according to ISO procedures and established work instructions.
  • Prioritize testing activities based on customer needs and laboratory capacity.
  • Generate accurate analytical data and maintain data integrity.
  • Coordinate multiple testing projects within a high-throughput laboratory environment.
  • Document and report results accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality laboratory services.
  • Drug screen & criminal background check will be required
