Job Description
Job Summary Our client a leading healthcare & life sciences provider is seeking a Sample Quality Analyst to join their team! This position is located in onsite in Ankeny, Iowa. This position is a 6 month contract role, with possibly for extension. This position is W-2 only. We do not work with third-party firms or C2C arrangements for this role. Core Responsibilities Receipt, identification, and preparation of samples (grain, seed, etc.) Ensure incoming samples are labeled correctly, appropriate analytical have been requested, prep and analyze samples according to ISO work instructions Prioritization of analysis according to customer needs matched to capacity Organization and coordination of projects in a high throughput lab environment Obtaining analytical data, ensuring data integrity, and functioning in multi-discipline teams and delivering laboratory results in an efficient manner Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field 0+ years of related experience, this can include similar laboratory work completed in an academic setting Laboratory experience can include: total combustion analysis, elemental analysis, calorimetry, Gas Chromatography (GC), NIR Spectroscopy, NMR, colorimetry, falling number, farinograph, mixograph, bench-top wet chemical or biology analysis Key Competencies & Behaviors Organizational skills Time management skills Technical skills
