Contract Job Overview:
Responsible for supporting protein expression analysis, laboratory operations, assay maintenance, and quality-controlled laboratory activities in a high-throughput research environment.
Requirement/Must Have:
Bachelor s degree in Molecular Biology or related field with 1 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting abilities. Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong written, oral, and organizational skills.
Experience:
Experience in immunochemistry, high-throughput analysis, and laboratory automation preferred. Experience with Microsoft Power Apps or similar workflow automation tools preferred. Exposure to software, data structures, artificial intelligence, or machine learning technologies supporting laboratory operations preferred.
Responsibilities:
Perform high-throughput plant tissue protein extractions and immunochemistry assays according to Standard Operating Procedures. Safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated laboratory equipment. Support routine laboratory operations including maintenance, inventory management, reagent preparation, and equipment upkeep. Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient laboratory environment. Identify and support implementation of process improvement opportunities. Ensure compliance with management system guidelines and laboratory procedures. Learn and utilize laboratory software and automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reliability. Support execution of protein expression experiments with strong quality control practices. Execute assay maintenance activities including optimization and reagent replacement. Record data, analyze results, and document conclusions using electronic notebooks and laboratory software. Demonstrate strong attention to detail during repetitive laboratory tasks in dynamic environments.
