In this vital role, you will perform a wide range of laboratory procedures, assist with specimen collection and processing, and support clinical testing to ensure timely and precise results. Your dedication to quality and patient service will help advance healthcare outcomes and improve lives every day. Duties Conduct laboratory procedures using established techniques to analyze biological samples with precision and efficiency Perform specimen collection and processing, including blood sampling, venipuncture, and handling various bodily fluids and tissues Assist in clinical laboratory testing by preparing samples, operating laboratory equipment, and recording data accurately Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to maintain sample integrity and laboratory safety standards Support patient care by providing compassionate patient service during specimen collection and explaining procedures clearly Monitor vital signs when necessary, such as during phlebotomy or patient interactions requiring physiological assessment Maintain detailed records of laboratory activities, test results, and quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards Qualifications Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, and specimen handling within a clinical or hospital setting Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and blood sampling methods such as venipuncture Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, blood collection devices, and aseptic techniques Prior hospital or clinical laboratory experience preferred to ensure familiarity with healthcare environment protocols Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately during specimen collection Knowledge of laboratory safety standards, infection control practices, and quality assurance processes Certification or licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician is highly desirable; relevant training in phlebotomy or blood sampling is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills make a meaningful difference in patient health.
