Potential duties could include the following: procure-maintain-operate equipment, procure and maintain laboratory subjects, documentation of standards and results, ordering and maintaining laboratory supplies and maintaining security standards.

Must demonstrate:

Strong organizational skills and scientific methodology foundation Basic understanding of chemistry, metric measurement and wet-lab skills Basic cell culture technique application: cell counting/hemocytometer, aseptic technique, CO2 incubator experience, microscopy, etc.

Additional skills preferred:

Small animal handling and surgical experience Plate reader set up, use and result interpretation Primary cell isolation Safety/Procedures/Security Ensures compliance with safety procedures, protocols, and record keeping requirements; ensures proper disposal of laboratory waste. Maintain, update and review Safety Data Sheet manual on an on-going basis with all employees Operations Assists and consults with researchers regarding use of specialized lab equipment, standard lab procedures, and the design and planning of experiments Facilitate necessary acquisition and repair-maintenance of lab equipment. Supplies Maintaining optimal inventory levels and purchasing-preparing supplies for lab operations This job may require working with vendors to ensure supplies and services fit within the operations budget for the laboratory. QC/Compliance Conducts and monitors product quality assurance, quality control and analytical process Data Management/Research Design Provides consultative and collaborative contributions to research design and methods. Develops and maintains relational databases from all procedures and experiments Makes recommendations / provides direction and enhancements based on recent or cumulative laboratory results We are a successful and growing life science company that provides cell services and products to the global life science industry.
