Major Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day performance of Clinical Services Department activities; specifically, tissue evaluation, tissue processing, and tissue allocation for transplant and research. Performs processing of donated ocular tissue. Performs the timely evaluation of donated ocular tissue. Decontaminate, wrap, sterilize surgical instruments. Perform laboratory cleaning and equipment maintenance. Perform shipping and receiving of ocular tissue and related specimens. Maintain accurate inventory of clinical supplies. Order clinical supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus. Verify clinical supplies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
