East Chicago, IN - onsite in an industrial facility and lab setting! Competitive pay based on experience Great opportunity for candidates looking to start or grow their career in the environmental industry! What will you do? Make an impact! If you have an interest to start your career in environmental services, or a background in laboratory operations, chemistry, or industrial processing, this is an opportunity to play a hands-on role in supporting sustainable recycling and reuse operations. As a Recycle Reuse Tech Specialist, you'll work closely with distillation and operations teams to perform lab testing, analyze samples, support quality control, and help improve processes in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Job Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing and analysis using wet chemistry, gas chromatography, and distillation processes Collect, sample, and maintain inventory records for tanks, vessels, and incoming/outgoing shipments Analyze samples and prepare Certificates of Analysis for outbound products Support new distillation and recycling opportunities through sample testing and evaluation Maintain laboratory databases, process records, and technical documentation Assist with maintaining, troubleshooting, and evaluating laboratory equipment Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures while supporting plant operations Other duties as assigned Do you have what it takes? Associate's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred; Bachelor's degree is a plus Experience with wet chemistry, gas chromatography, solvent distillation, and general laboratory procedures required Two or more years of industry-related experience is preferred Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and maintaining accurate records Able to manage multiple priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced environment Ability to work onsite in an industrial setting and meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting, kneeling, and reaching Tradebe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
