Job Description

Role Overview As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory and quality control tasks, including sample preparation, testing, analysis, and documentation. You will ensure accurate data collection, maintain laboratory equipment, follow safety protocols, and support production and quality standards. This role is critical in helping maintain the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of laboratory operations in a manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Operations:
Prepare and analyze samples according to established procedures. Perform routine lab tests and quality checks with accuracy. Record and report testing data and results. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laboratory. Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and laboratory standards. Identify and report out-of-spec results. Troubleshoot basic testing or equipment issues. Ensure compliance with laboratory and quality procedures. Collaborate with production, quality, and compounding teams as needed.
Quality Control:
Conduct quality control tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products. Prepare chemical solutions or samples for testing. Verify that products meet quality standards and specifications. Maintain accurate records of test results and inspections. Assist with quality documentation and corrective action follow-up as needed.
Sample Management:
Receive, log, label, and track samples. Ensure proper sample storage and handling. Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory and supplies. Communicate sample results or concerns to the appropriate departments.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate records, logs, and documentation. Assist with paperwork flow through the QC laboratory. Support documentation related to testing, raw materials, and production needs. Perform data entry and maintain organized records. Experience and Knowledge Prior laboratory, quality control, chemical, manufacturing, or production testing experience preferred. Basic understanding of laboratory procedures, testing equipment, and documentation. Strong attention to detail. Comfortable with basic math and measurements. Ability to follow written procedures and safety requirements. Manufacturing experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
