The ideal candidate will support scientific research and development efforts by performing precise laboratory procedures, data collection, and analysis in compliance with industry standards such as GLP, CGMP, and FDA regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic research environment, utilizing advanced laboratory techniques across various disciplines.
Shift:
Wed, Thurs, and Fri 5p-5:30am
Responsibilities:
This independent contributor role consists of, but is not limited to:
  • hands on completion of analysis of in
  • process and final batch test results in support of manufacturing
  • as decisions and actions are based on lab results, this position requires diligent detail in following lab procedures, record keeping and documentation, and accurate calculations and reporting.
  • this role will require the successful candidate to communicate with various departments (operations, technical)
  • lab is 24/7
  • shifts are minimum 8 hours
  • max 12 hours and this is a NIGHT shift position. Mandatory overtime is required in situations such as schedule gaps, vacations, call ins, ect..
  • Schedule may alter with demand/business need.
  • First two weeks on job will be dayshift (initial training processes and equipment learning) This time frame is subject to change depending on how well the trainee moves along.
  • Once initial training is complete you will then go to m-f nightshift until fully trained in all areas.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must be able to lift 55 pounds.
  • Dependable transportation, excellent attendance and timeliness are required
  • Accurate thorough documentation and lab records are imperative
  • Ability to multitask (manage multiple simultaneous samples in organized high-quality environment) is required.
  • Some lab experience preferred. Ability to follow lab work instructions.
  • Strong commitment to safety and working safely.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong output of accurate results
PREFERRED BUT NOT MANDATORY
  • laboratory experience
  • basic polymer testing (ash, MFR, volatiles, color)
  • ISO quality system and audit experience
  • basic knowledge of Microsoft office apps (word, excel, access, ect..)
  • communication skills
  • extrusion molding experience
