Job Description

Laboratory/Medical Lab Technician (MLS / MLT / MT)
Location:
Indianapolis Metro Area, IN Shift:
5x8s
Schedule:
Rotating Weekends Required Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing in accordance with established policies and procedures. Analyze and report accurate laboratory results to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
Perform testing in:
Hematology Blood Bank Chemistry Urinalysis Kit Testing Verify specimen integrity and ensure quality control standards are met. Troubleshoot equipment and resolve testing issues as needed. Document results accurately within Cerner EMR/LIS. Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent hospital clinical laboratory experience required. Generalist laboratory experience required. Blood Bank experience required. Ability to work independently after orientation and training. ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification, OR ASCP Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification, OR ASCP Medical Technologist (MT) certification.
