Job Description
Technical Operations Specialist (Lab Technician / Operations Support) Key Responsibilities Execute lab-based testing activities, including: Product and packaging inspection (e.g., vials, syringes) Physical testing such as drop testing and handling packages up to 50 lbs Perform shipping and receiving of materials, samples, and test articles Prepare equipment, materials, and documentation for upcoming studies Accurately document study activities, results, and observations in compliance with internal procedures (GMP/GDP preferred) Track study progress and communicate updates to internal teams Maintain organized inventory of lab materials, equipment, and supplies Support equipment upkeep, calibration tracking, and preventative maintenance coordination Assist in troubleshooting study deviations and resolving operational issues Support general lab organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment What Success Looks Like Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits Comfortable performing hands-on, physical work in a lab setting Able to follow structured processes consistently and accurately Reliable, organized, and proactive in supporting team needs Strong communicator and team player Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Lab technician or lab support Manufacturing or production support Warehouse / shipping & receiving operations Equipment maintenance or hands-on technical roles Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) Preferred Qualifications Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated environments Familiarity with GMP or GDP documentation practices Experience with product or packaging inspection Equipment maintenance or calibration exposure Associate's degree in engineering technology or related field Exposure to ASTM or ISTA standards (a plus)
