Rotating Weekends Required Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Laboratory / Medical Lab Technician for an exciting Travel or Local opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory testing in accordance with established policies and procedures Analyze and report accurate laboratory results to support patient diagnosis and treatment Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment Perform testing in Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Urinalysis, and Kit Testing Verify specimen integrity and ensure quality control standards are met Troubleshoot equipment and resolve testing issues as needed Document results accurately within Cerner EMR/LIS Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of recent hospital clinical laboratory experience required Generalist laboratory experience required Blood Bank experience required Ability to work independently after orientation and training ASCP Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or Medical Technologist (MT) certification required For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
