The Laboratory Technician is primarily responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses under the direction of a lab supervisor or scientist including specimen management, specimen pipetting, instrument operation/maintenance, data entry and specimen storage with a high degree of proficiency. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean, sterile, and in proper working order. May be responsible for calibration of instruments.
