Join Our Team as a Travel Catheterization Laboratory Technician I - Days! Are you a passionate healthcare professional eager to make a difference in cardiac care? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician I to join our dynamic team on a travel basis. What You'll Do:
As a Travel Catheterization Laboratory Technician I, you will prepare and operate advanced cath lab equipment, assist physicians during complex cardiac procedures such as TAVR, device implants, and vascular interventions, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and care. You'll work Monday through Friday, supporting a specialized team committed to excellence in cardiovascular treatment. Your expertise will directly contribute to successful patient outcomes while gaining diverse experience across different facilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Associates degree in cardiovascular technology, radiologic technology, or related healthcare field (preferred) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA (required) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA (required) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire (required for Pediatric facility work) 0-1 year of experience in an acute care environment (preferred) Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain complex cath lab equipment Strong teamwork, communication, and documentation skills Commitment to safety, infection control, and aseptic techniques Nice to
Have Skills:
Certifications such as RCIS, RCES, RCS, or advanced radiography credentials Prior experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps, rotational atherectomy, or other interventional devices Familiarity with imaging systems like IVUS, ICE, and fluoroscopy
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in related field Experience working in cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, or vascular intervention settings
Additional Requirements:
Valid certifications as listed above Willingness to travel and work at various facilities as needed Ability to work rotating weekends and on-call shifts Commitment to organizational principles of Catholic healthcare and patient-centered care Why Join Us?
