Position Type Full-Time/Regular The Boston University Pulmonary Center, Bosmann Lab is recruiting a Research Laboratory Technician for projects on the molecular immune response to infections. Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), pneumonia and sepsis are life-threatening complications of microbial infections with profound disturbances of the immune system. We are especially interested in novel genes for which several genetically engineered mouse strains were generated by CRISPR-Cas9 in our laboratory. We seek a highly motivated Research Technician for performing and assisting in our studies which include animal models of disease (e.g. mouse survival surgery), mouse genotyping and mouse breeding colony management, cell cultures, immunology methods and molecular biology (e.g. ELISA, PCR, Western blotting, lung histology).
