Day Shift (7:00 AM•3:00 PM) / Evening Shift (3:00 PM•11:00 PM)
Working Days:
5 Days/Week |

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Laboratory, Medical Lab Tech (Travel) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Falmouth, MA 02540. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic laboratory testing in blood bank, hematology, serology, chemistry, coagulation, clinical microscopy, and bacteriology Conduct organic and inorganic diagnostic testing procedures Draw venous and capillary blood specimens from inpatient and outpatient populations Prepare, package, and arrange transport of specimens to reference laboratories Prioritize laboratory requests based on patient condition and urgency Record, verify, and report laboratory test results accurately and promptly Ensure timely communication of reports to physicians and nursing departments Maintain accurate billing and charge documentation for laboratory services Perform proficiency testing and complete required analysis reports Prepare laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration before testing Perform and document daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checks on laboratory instruments Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards Support service excellence initiatives aligned with facility CARES values Perform additional laboratory-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Associate's Degree in Science from an accredited institution required Completion of approved Medical Technician Internship Program required ASCP Certification required Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing Phlebotomy experience required Basic computer skills preferred Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays Additional Details Traveler assignment for 13 weeks Flex scheduling with day and evening shift rotation Every other weekend required Occasional holiday coverage required Hospital laboratory environment with multi-department testing responsibilities Must wear facility-issued identification badge at all times For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
