DESCRIPTION
Join our collaborative team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Sr Site Specialist within Unity Lab Services. In this role, you'll contribute by providing essential laboratory support services that enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll manage inventory systems, coordinate laboratory operations, and ensure exceptional service delivery at customer sites. Working directly with researchers and scientists, you'll maintain crucial lab support functions including materials management, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. REQUIREMENTS
Education High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Experience 2 years of experience in laboratory setting and/or customer service environment
Preferred Fields of Study:
Biology, Chemistry, or related field Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact professionally at all levels Experience with inventory management systems and handheld scanners Knowledge of GMP/GLP environments and laboratory safety protocols preferred Ability to lift, push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; up to 50 pounds occasionally Capability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in varied temperature environments Willingness to wear required PPE including lab coats, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail Experience with chemical handling and waste management protocols preferred Flexibility to work overtime as needed Valid driver's license. Must have reliable mean of transportation.

certification a plus Bilingual skills valued Ability to operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, pushcarts) Experience with laboratory documentation and compliance procedures Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor Compensation And Benefits The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $19.64-$27.10. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
